समाजसेवक अण्णा हजारे यांनी राळेगण सिद्धी येथे विविध मागण्यांसाठी सुरू केलेल्या आमरण उपोषणाकडे सरकार आणि प्रसिद्धी माध्यमांनी केलेल्या दुर्लक्षावर उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी सांमनातून ताशेरे ओढले आहेत. भ्रष्टाचाराचा उगम निवडणूक पद्धतीत आहे व निवडणूक आयोगही सत्ताधाऱ्यांच्या हातचे बाहुले बनूनच वागत असतो. भ्रष्टाचार संपवणारा लोकायुक्त जन्माला यायचा आहे. लोकायुक्त–उपलोकायुक्तांच्या कक्षेत मुख्यमंत्र्यांना आणले म्हणजे नक्की काय करणार? ‘राफेल’मध्ये भ्रष्टाचार झालाच नाही, तसे मुख्यमंत्री हेदेखील ‘साधनशूचितेचे शिरोमणीच’ असतात. अण्णांचे उपोषण या प्रश्नांची उत्तरे देईल काय? असा प्रश्न शिवसेना पक्षप्रमुख उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी सामना संपादकीयच्या माध्यमातून विचारला आहे.
अण्णा हजारे सध्या आपल्याच गावी उपोषणास बसले आहेत. सरकारसह माध्यमांनी त्यांना भलतेच थंडपणे घेतले. यामागचे चिंतन अण्णा हजारे यांनी करायला हवे असं उद्धव ठाकरेंनी म्हटलं आहे. अण्णांच्या नेहमीच्याच काही मागण्या आहेत. त्यात शेतकऱ्याच्या मालास हमीभाव देण्याचा विषय आहे. अण्णांच्या नव्वद टक्के मागण्या मान्य केल्याची घोषणा मुख्यमंत्र्यांचे खासम्खास गिरीश महाजन यांनी केली. पुन्हा महाजन हे अण्णांना भेटण्यासाठी राळेगणला निघालेच होते, पण तोपर्यंत अण्णा यांनी यादवबाबांच्या मंदिरात उपोषण धरले होते. त्यामुळे महाजन त्रागा करून परत फिरले. जळगाव, धुळे वगैरे महापालिकांत विजय मिळवणे किंवा विजय विकत घेणे सोपे, पण अण्णांसारख्या ‘कडक’ माणसावर ‘ईव्हीएम पद्धती’ने विजय मिळविणे सोपे नाही असा टोला उद्धव ठाकरेंनी लगावला आहे.
दिसतो अशी शंका उद्धव ठाकरेंनी उपस्थित केली आहे. मोदी सरकारने दिलेली आश्वासने पाळली नाहीत व तोंडास पाने पुसली. त्यामुळे आता उपोषण करावे असे अण्णांना वाटले असंही उद्धव ठाकरेंनी म्हटलं आहे.
भुजबळांच्या रिकाम्या कोठडय़ांची भीती मुख्यमंत्री दाखवतात, पण त्या कधीच भरल्या जात नाहीत. लोकायुक्त-उपलोकायुक्त हे आतापर्यंत शोभेचे बाहुले होते. महापालिका, नगर परिषद, जिल्हा परिषद, पंचायत समिती, महामंडळे, कंपन्या यांतील गैरव्यवहारांची चौकशी लोकायुक्त करू शकत होते, पण मुख्यमंत्र्यांना अभय होते. आता मुख्यमंत्रीही त्यांच्या कक्षेत आले. प्रश्न इतकाच आहे की, मुख्यमंत्र्यांनीच नेमलेले हे लोकायुक्त आपल्या बॉसची चौकशी कशी करणार? असा सवाल उद्धव ठाकरेंनी उपस्थित केला आहे.
निवडणुकांसाठी प्रचंड पैसा लागतो. निवडणुका जिंकण्यासाठी पैशांचा पाऊस पाडावा लागतो. अस्थिर राजकारणात घोडेबाजार होतो व मुख्यमंत्रीपदावरील व्यक्तीला हा पैसा गोळा करून निवडणुका लढवाव्यालागतात. हा पैसा सचोटीचा, घामाचा नसतो. तो चोरपावलाने, टेबलाखालून येतो. या व्यवहारात ‘तेरी भी चूप और मेरी भी चूप’ असेच सगळे असते. विरोधी पक्ष थेट जाहीर भाषणांतून भ्रष्टाचाराचे पुरावे देत असतात, पण लोकायुक्त नावाचा नंदीबैल व लाचलुचपत प्रतिबंधक खाते त्यावर कारवाई करीत नाही अशी टीका उद्धव ठाकरेंनी केली आहे.
