जैश ए- मोहम्मद या दहशतावादी संघटनेचा म्होरक्या व कुख्यात दहशतवादी मसूद अजहर ठार झाल्याचे वृत्त माध्यमांतून समोर येत आहे. पण खरेच हा मृत्यू झाला का ? या बद्दल अद्याप अधिकृत माहिती समोर येत नाही. भारतीय वायुसेनेने केलेल्या कारवाईत मसूद अजरह ठार झाल्याचे सांगण्यात येत आहे. तर काही दिवसांपासून किडनी संबंधातील त्रास होतात्यातूनच त्याचा मृत्यू झाल्याचेही वृत्त आहे. पाकिस्तानकडूनही या मसूदच्या मृत्यूच्या बातमीला अद्याप दुजोरा देण्यात आला नाहीए. थोड्या वेळात याबाबत स्पष्टता येईल. किडनीच्या त्रासामुळे मसूद अजहर खूप त्रस्त होता. यामुळे त्याला घरातून बाहेर पडणेही कठीण झाले होते. याबाबत पाकिस्तानी पररराष्ट्र मंत्रालयाने कबुली दिली होती.
