मुंबई – राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसची आज महत्वाची बैठक झाली. यावेळी भाजप ज्येष्ठ नेते एकनाथ खडसे राष्ट्रवादीत प्रवेश करण्याची शक्यता वर्तविण्यात आली होती.मात्र, खडसेंबाबत कोणीतीही चर्चा झाली नसल्याचे स्पष्टीकरण राष्ट्रवादीचे प्रदेशाध्यक्ष जयंत पाटील यांनी दिले आहे.
जयंत पाटील म्हणाले कि, राष्ट्रवादीच्या बैठकीत जळगाव जलसिंचन प्रकल्पाबाबत चर्चा झाली. यामध्ये एकनाथ खडसे यांच्याविषयीची कोणतीही चर्चा झाली नाही. खडसे यांच्या नाराजीबाबत त्यांच्या पक्षाने विचार करावा, असा सल्लाही जयंत पाटील यांनी भाजपला दिला.
तसेच, भविष्यात खडसे राष्ट्रवादीत येतील का? यावर जयंत पाटील यांनी राजकारणात जर-तरला फार महत्व नसते असे उत्तर दिले.
दरम्यान, राष्ट्रवादीच्या बैठकीत उत्तर महाराष्ट्रातील नेता पक्षात घेण्याबाबत चर्चा होण्याची शक्यता होती. उत्तर महाराष्ट्रातील मोठा नेता म्हणजे एकनाथ खडसे यांच्या नावाचीच सर्वाधिक चर्चा होती. शिवाय एकनाथ खडसे मोठ्या काळापासून भाजपवर नाराज आहेत. त्यांनी आपली नाराजी व्यक्त केली आहे. त्यामुळे एकनाथ खडसेच तर राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच्या वाटेवर नाहीत ना अशा चर्चांना उधाण आले होते.
