पुणे स्टेशन जवळील सेंट्रल बिल्डींगमध्ये असलेल्या टॉवरवर एक महिला चढून आत्महत्या करण्याची धमकी देत होती. तिचे समाजकल्याण कार्यालयातील काम अनेक दिवसांपासून पेंडींग असल्याने महिला टॉवरवर चढली होती. अग्निशमन दल व पोलीस घटनास्थळी दाखल झाले असून महिलेला खाली उतरवण्यात आले आहे.
सोनूबाई य़ेवले असे टॉवरवर चढलेल्या महिलेचे नाव आहे. समाजकल्याण कार्यालयात महिलेचे काम काही दिवसांपासून पेंडीग आहे. ते काम पुर्ण न झाल्याने ती मंगळवारी सकाळी १० वाजता टॉवरवर चढली. त्यानंतर तिने आरडाओरडा करण्यास सुरुवात केली. त्यामुळे घटनास्थळी बरीच गर्दी जमा झाली. नागरिकांनी व तेथील अधिकाऱ्यांनी अग्निशमन दल व पोलीसांना याची माहिती दिली. अग्निशमन जवानांच्या प्रयत्नानंतर महिलेला खाली उतरवण्यात आले आहे. अगदी शोले स्टाईल आंदोलन महिलेकडून केले जात असल्याने बघ्यांनी मात्र खुप गर्दी केली होती.
