पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, सागर भालेराव आणि स्वप्नील गिरमे हे दोघे मांजरी परिसरात राहण्यास आहेत. गिरमे याचे वडील कंडक्टर आहेत. दोघांचेही शिक्षण झाले नाही.

त्यामुळे पोलिसांनी गस्त घालण्यास सुरुवात केली. त्यावेळी आळंदीच्या सत्संगातून येऊन चोऱ्या करणारे दोघे सोने विकण्यासाठी येणार असल्याची माहिती पोलीस उपनिरीक्षक मंगेश भांगे व कर्मचारी नितीन मुंढे यांना मिळाली. त्यानुसार सापळा रचून दोघांना ताब्यात घेतले. त्यांच्याकडे तपास केल्यावर दोघे सत्संगातून येऊन घरफोड्या करत असल्याचे कबूल केले. त्यांच्याकडून पोलिसांनी १३१ ग्रॅम सोने, ५ दुचाकी, १० मोबाईल, २ एलसीडी टिव्ही, १ कॅमेरा, २६ हजार रुपये रोख असा ११ लाख रुपयांचा मुद्देमाल जप्त केला आहे. अशी माहिती त्यांनी दिली.
