मुंबई : माढा लोकसभा मतदारसंघाच्या रिंगणातून राष्ट्रवादीचे अध्यक्ष शरद पवार यांनी माघार घेतल्यामुळे महाराष्ट्राच्या राजकीय वर्तुळात खळबळ उडाली आहे. पवार यांच्यानंतर कोण असा प्रश्न सर्वाधिक चर्चिला जात असताना माजी सनदी अधिकारी प्रभाकर देशमुख आणि विद्यमान खासदार विजयसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांचे चिरंजीव रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील अशी दोन नावे अंतिम शर्यतीत असल्याचे सूत्रांचे म्हणणे आहे. आयत्यावेळी प्रभाकर देशमुख यांचे नाव जाहीर जाईल, असे बोलले जात असले तरी मोहिते पाटील गटाचे पारडे अजूनही जडच आहे.
एकाकडे तगडा प्रशासकीय अनुभव आणि शरद पवार यांच्याशी असलेली जवळीक तर दुसऱ्याकडे भक्कम राजकीय वारसा आणि संसदेतील कामकाजाचा अनुभव असा हा सामना आहे. दोघांच्याही अधिक – उण्या बाजू लक्षात घेता राष्ट्रवादीत काट्याची टक्कर असल्याचे दिसून येत आहे.
कोण आहेत प्रभाकर देशमुख ?
प्रभाकर देशमुख हे माजी प्रशासकीय अधिकारी आहेत. शरद पवार मुख्यमंत्री असताना देशमुख हे त्यांचे सचिव होते. कल्पक आणि धडाडीचा अधिकारी अशी त्यांची ओळख आहे. प्रशासनात विविध पदांवर त्यांनी काम केले आहे. जलयुक्त शिवार ही त्यांचीच संकल्पना. ती विद्यमान मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी राबवली आणि तिचे श्रेयही घेतले. निवृत्तीनंतर शरद पवार यांनी त्यांना आपल्या पक्षात घेऊन फडणवीस यांच्यावर सर्जिकल स्ट्राईक केला.
उमेदवारीची मागणी
राष्ट्रवादीच्या लोकसभा मतदारसंघनिहाय आढावा बैठकीत विजयसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांच्यासोबत प्रभाकर देशमुख यांनीही उमेदवारीची मागणी केली. देशमुख यांनाच शरद पवार यांनी हिरवा कंदील दाखवल्याची चर्चा तेव्हा राजकीय आणि प्रशासकीय वर्तुळात होती. उमेदवारीची मागणी केल्यानंतर लगेचच देशमुख यांनी मतदारसंघात बांधणी करायला सुरुवात केली होती. त्यांना चांगला प्रतिसादही मिळत होता.
इथे अडते घोडे
प्रभाकर देशमुख हे राजकीय व्यक्तिमत्व नाही. त्यामुळे राजकारणात “आतले” असलेल्या लोकांचा त्यांना विरोध आहे. जलयुक्त शिवारच्या माध्यमातून त्यांनी आपले स्वतःचे जाळे विणलेले असले तरी त्यांचे प्रभावक्षेत्र हे सातारा जिल्ह्यातील माण, खटाव आणि फलटण तालुक्यापुरते मर्यादित आहे. सोलापूर जिल्ह्यात त्यांना किती प्रतिसाद मिळेल आणि राजकीय व्यक्ती त्यांना किती सहकार्य करतील, याबद्दल साशंकता व्यक्त केली जात आहे.
कोण आहेत रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील ?
रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील हे विद्यमान खासदार विजयसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांचे चिरंजीव आहेत. मोहिते पाटील यांच्या घराण्याच्या रूपाने त्यांना समृद्ध राजकीय वारसा लाभलेला आहे. तरुण आणि देखणा चेहरा तसेच राज्य सभा खासदारकीचा अनुभव या त्यांच्या जमेच्या बाजू आहेत. आपल्या राजकीय जीवनात ते फारसे वादग्रस्त राहिलेले नाहीत. विजयसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांचा वारसदार म्हणून त्यांच्याकडे पाहिले जाते.
मजबूत राजकीय बांधणी
मोहिते पाटील आणि माळशिरस हे समीकरण आहे. मोहिते पाटील घराण्याने अकलूजचा चेहरामोहरा बदलला. माळशिरस तालुक्याचा चेहरामोहरा मोहिते पाटील यांच्यामुळे बदलला हे वास्तव आहे. सोलापूर जिल्ह्यात मोहिते पाटील हे बडे प्रस्थ आहे. २०१४ साली मोदी लाट असतानाही विजयसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांनी लोकसभेची जागा खेचून आणली होती, यावरून त्यांच्या राजकीय बांधणीची कल्पना यावी. शिवाय शरद पवार यांनी मावळ लोकसभा मतदारसंघात पार्थ पवार आणि बारामतीतून सुप्रिया सुळे यांची उमेदवारी जाहीर करून पवार कुटुंबियांना प्राधान्य दिले आहे. त्यामुळे मोहिते पाटलांच्या कुटुंबातील सदस्याला संधी देण्याचे नैतिक बंधन पवारांवर आहे.
स्थानिक गटबाजीचा फटका शक्य
शरद पवार हे सर्वोच्च नेते असले तरी राष्ट्रवादी हा गटातटाचा पक्ष आहे. मोहिते पाटील यांनाही स्थानिक नेत्यांचा विरोध आहे. रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील हे तरुण आणि संयत नेतृत्व असले तरी त्यांच्यावर अजित पवार यांची खप्पा मर्जी असल्याचे मानले जाते. शिवाय माढा मतदारसंघात येणाऱ्या सांगोला विधानसभा मतदारसंघाचे आमदार गणपतराव देशमुख यांचाही मोहिते पाटील यांना विरोध असल्याची सोलापुरात चर्चा आहे. फलटणचे राष्ट्रवादीचे वजनदार नेते रामराजे नाईक निंबाळकर हे रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांच्यापेक्षा प्रभाकर देशमुख यांच्या उमेदवारीला अनुकूल आहेत. माढ्यातील राष्ट्रवादीचे तगडे नेते संजय शिंदे आणि मोहिते पाटील यांच्यातील राजकीय संघर्ष रणजितसिंह मोहिते पाटील यांच्यासमोरील मोठी अडचण आहे.
