पोलिसांच्या माहितीनुसार, मिलींद मधुकर मनेरीकर (वय ५०, रा. तळेगाव दाभाडे) यांच्यावर हल्लेखोरांनी गोळीबार केला आहे. या हल्ल्यामध्ये ते गंभीर जखमी झाले असून त्यांच्या पोटात उजव्या बाजूला तीन तर एक गोळी मानेला चाटून गेली आहे. त्याच्यावर खासगी रुग्णालयात उपचार सुरू आहेत. दरम्यान, दुचाकीवरून आलेले दोन्ही आरोपी हे फरार झाले आहेत.
मनेरीकर हे आपले मित्र चेतन निमकर (वय ५१, रा. तळेगाव दाभाडे) यांच्यासोबत कारमधून तळेगावकडून गावाकडे जात असताना पाठीमागून दुचाकीवर आलेल्या दोन अनोळखी व्यक्तींनी त्यांच्याजवळ येऊन गाडी थांबवली आणि त्यांना हांडे पोल्ट्री फार्म कुठे आहे? अशी विचारणा केली. तेव्हा कारची काच खाली घेऊन मिलींद हे पत्ता विचारणाऱ्यांशी बोलत असताना दुचाकीवरील पाठीमागे बसलेल्या व्यक्तीने गावठी कट्ट्याने कार चालक मिलींद मनेरीकर यांच्यावर चार गोळ्या झाडल्या. यातील तीन गोळ्या त्यांच्या पोटाच्या उजव्या बाजूला लागल्या तर एक मानेला चाटून गेली.
