प्रचंड भ्रष्टाचार व मनमानी कारभार या कारभाराला कंटाळून राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच्या वतीने पुणे महानगरपालिकेसमोर बँड वाजून सत्ताधारी भाजपच्या विरोधात आंदोलन करण्यात आले यावेळी ते बोलत होते

सत्ताधारी भाजप कचऱ्यामध्ये भ्रष्टाचार करत आहे, नातेवाईकांना टेंडर देत आहे, स्वच्छतेचा संदेश दिला जातो मात्र पुणे शहर कचऱ्याने भरलेले आहे, महापालिकेत भ्रष्टाचार सुरू असून देशात शरमेने पुण्याची मान खाली गेलेली आहे, पुण्याला खड्ड्यात घालण्याचं काम या भाजप सत्ताधाऱ्यांनी केल्याने अनेक प्रश्न प्रलंबित आहेत त्यामुळे कामगारांचे उपोषण सुरू आहे पुण्याची अधोगती भाजप सत्ताधाऱ्यांमुळे झाली आहे असा आरोप देखील यावेळी बोलताना चेतन तुपे यांनी केला.
