मुंबई : (रोखठोक महाराष्ट्र ऑनलाईन न्युज) – मुंबईमध्ये सीएसएमटी स्टेशनजवळील पादचारी पूल कोसळला आहे. या दुर्घटनेत चौघांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. तर ३४ जण गंभीर जखमी झाले आहेत.मृतांची संख्या वाढण्याची शक्यता वर्तविण्यात येत आहे. या घटनेमुळे एकच खळबळ उडाली असून या पूलाचा फक्त सांगाडाच शिल्लक राहिला आहे. हा सांगाडा कोणत्याही क्षणी कोसळण्याची शक्यता असल्याने पोलिसांकडून या ठिकाणची गर्दी हटवण्याचे काम सुरु आहे. घटनास्थळी फायरब्रिगेडच्या गाड्या आणि अॅम्ब्युलन्स घटनास्थळी दाखल झाल्या आहेत. तर पिंपरी मधून एनडीआरएफची टीम मुंबईच्या दिशेने रवाना करण्यात आली आहे.
अपूर्वा प्रभू (वय- ३५), रंजना तांबे (वय- ४०), जाहिद सिराज खान (वय – ३२) असे मृत्यू झालेल्यांची नावे आहेत. मृत्यू झालेल्या चौथ्याचे नाव अद्याप समजू शकले नाही. या दुर्घटनेत आत्तापर्यंत ३४ जण गंभीर जखमी झाले आहेत.
छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज टर्मिनस (सीएसएमटी) रेल्वे स्थानकाबाहेरील काम रुग्णालयाच्या गल्लीकडे तसेच किला कोर्टाकडे जाणारा पादचारी पुलाचा अर्धा भाग आज सायंकाळी साडेसातच्या सुमारास कोसळला आहे. त्यामुळे पुलाखालून जे. जे. फ्लायओव्हरकडे जाणारा आणि विरुद्ध दिशेने म्हणजेच फोर्टकडे जाणारी वाहतूक खोळंबली आहे. दोन्ही मार्ग बंद करण्यात आले आहेत. घटनास्थळी पोलीस आणि अग्निशमन दलाचे जवान दाखल झाले आहेत. काही ३४ जण जखमी झाल्याची माहिती सूत्रांनी दिली आहे. या दुर्घटनेत चौघांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. मृत्यूचा तसेच जखमींचा आकडा वाढण्याची दाट शक्यता आहे.
सीएसएमटी परिसरात बरीच कार्यालये असून चाकरमानी घरी जाण्याच्या वेळेस म्हणजेच वर्दळीच्या वेळी ही दुर्घटना घडली आहे. एल्फिन्स्टन रेल्वे स्थानकावर झालेल्या भीषण दुर्घटनेनंतर ही गंभीर घटना घडली आहे. ३४ लोक जखमी झाल्याचे सांगण्यात येत आहे. अग्निशमन दलाच्या पाच गाड्या घटनास्थळी बचावकार्यासाठी दाखल झाले आहेत.कामा रुग्णालयातून सीएसएमटीकडे येणारा दरवाजा बंद करण्यात आला आहे. साडेसातच्या आसपास ही घटना घडल्याचे प्रत्यक्षदर्शींकडून सांगण्यात येत आहे. जखमींना सायन, सेंट जॉर्ज आणि जीटी रुग्णालयात उपचारासाठी दाखल करण्यात आले आहे. या पुलाजवळ अंजुमन इस्लाम ही शाळा असून अनेकजण कार्यालयात आणि रेल्वे स्थानकाकडे जाण्या – येण्यासाठी या पुलाचा वापर केला जातो.
