सुजय विखे पाटील यांच्या प्रचारासाठी पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांची सभा झाली. त्यावेळी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, केंद्रीय सामाजिक न्याय राज्यमंत्री रामदास आठवले हे व्यासपीठावर येण्याआधी काही स्थानिक नेत्यांची भाषणं सुरु झाली. त्यावेळी त्यांनी विकासकामांसह भाजपच्या कामाचा आढावा नेत्यांनी सांगितला. परंतु खासदार दिलीप गांधी हे बोलायला उठले. त्यांनी आपण केलेल्या विकासकामांचा आढावा देण्यास सुरुवात केली. तेवढ्यात जिल्हाध्यक्ष प्रा. बेरड यांनी त्यांना मध्येच थांबवलं. त्यामुळे दिलीप गांधी प्रचंड संतापले. मला किमान दोन मिनिटं तरी बोलू द्या. मी विकास केला नाही असं म्हटलं जातं. परंतु मी केलेल्या विकासकामांचा लेखाजोखा सोबत आणला आहे. असं ते बोलत होते. तेव्हा त्यांचे डोळेदेखील पाणावले होते. काही मिनिटांसाठी माईकही बंद करण्यात आला होता. गांधींचं बोलणं ऐकूण बेरड व्यासपीठावरून बाजूला गेले.
त्यानंतर बोलू न दिल्याने संतापलेल्या गांधी यांची सुजय विखे यांनी समजूत काढून त्यांना जागेवर बसवले. मात्र, मतदारांसमोर झालेल्या भरसभेतील या सर्व प्रकारामुळे अहमदनगरमध्ये भाजपात पक्षांतर्गत धुसफुस सुरु असल्याचे चित्र आहे.
