महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेनेला रामराम करत मनसेचे आमदार शरद सोनवणे यांनी शिवसेना पक्षात प्रवेश करण्याचा निर्णय जाहीर केला. सोमवारी (ता. ११) दुपारी दोन वाजता दादर (मुंबई) येथील शिवसेना भवन येथे पक्षप्रमुख उद्धवजी ठाकरे यांच्या उपस्थितीत आमदार सोनवणे शिवसेना पक्षात प्रवेश करणार आहेत. याबाबतचा निर्णय त्यांनी काल येथील शासकीय विश्रामगृहात आयोजित पत्रकार परिषदेत जाहीर केला.
मात्र ग्रामीण भागात मनसेचा प्रभाव नसल्याने जिल्हा परिषद, नगरपालिका, पंचायत समिती व इतर सहकारातील निवडणुकीत मी कार्यकर्त्यांना न्याय देऊ शकत नव्हतो. हे शल्य माझ्या मनात होते. तालुक्‍यातील शिवसेनेच्या ज्येष्ठांनी मला शिवसेनेत प्रवेश करण्याबाबत आग्रह धरला होता. अभिनेते डॉ. अमोल कोल्हे हे राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस पक्षात दाखल झाल्याने मला शिवसेना पक्षात घेण्यासाठी हालचाली सुरू झाल्या. लोकसभा निवडणुकीपूर्वी पक्षप्रवेश करावा, यासाठी आढळराव पाटील आग्रही होते.’’
सर्वांना एकत्र आणणार
आमदार सोनवणे म्हणाले, ‘‘माजी उपजिल्हा प्रमुख सुनील मेहेर, अनिल मेहेर, नेताजी डोके, विश्‍वास आमले आदी पदाधिकारी शिवसेना सोडून गेले आहेत. त्यांच्यासह शिवसेनेतील सर्व पदाधिकाऱ्यांना एकत्र आणून शिवसेना पक्षाची ताकद वाढवणार असून, लोकसभा निवडणुकीत एक लाखाचे मताधिक्‍य तालुक्‍यात मिळवून देणार आहे.’’ तसेच बुचके यांच्याबाबत सोनवणे म्हणाले, ‘‘पक्षात बुचके व त्यांच्या समर्थकांना सन्मानाची वागणूक दिली जाईल. त्यांनी नाराज न होता माझ्याबरोबर एकत्र येऊन पक्षासाठी काम करावे. भविष्यात त्यांना महामंडळासारखे पद देण्यासाठी मी प्रयत्न करील.’
आगामी विधानसभा निवडणुकीत मी मोठ्या मताधिक्‍याने निवडून येणार आहे. राज्यात युतीची सत्ता आल्यास तालुक्‍याच्या विकासासाठी पर्यटन मंत्रिपद द्यावे, अशी मागणी मी उद्धवजी ठाकरे यांच्याकडे केली असून, त्यांनी अनुकूलता दाखवली आहे.
