राज्यात विधानसभा निवडणुकीच्या तयारीच्या अनुषंगाने माहिती आणि आढावा घेण्यासाठी केंद्रीय निवडणूक आयोग आज मुंबई दौऱ्यावर आले आहे. देशाचे मुख्य निवडणूक आयुक्त सुनील अरोरा, निवडणूक आयुक्त अशोक लवासा आणि सुशील चंद्रा यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत उद्या बुधवारी विविध बैठकांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे.
उद्या बुधवारी सकाळी ९.३० वाजता सह्याद्री राज्य अतिथीगृह येथे राजकीय पक्षांसमवेत बैठक होईल. सकाळी ११.१५ आणि दुपारी २.३० वाजता विभागीय आयुक्त, जिल्हा निवडणूक अधिकारी, विशेष पोलीस महानिरीक्षक, पोलीस अधीक्षक यांच्यासमवेत बैठक होईल. दुपारी ४.४५ वाजता निवडणूक खर्च देखरेखविषयक विभागांसोबत बैठक होईल. सायंकाळी ५.१५ वाजता राज्याचे मुख्य सचिव, पोलीस महासंचालक, गृह विभागाचे प्रधान सचिव आणि राज्य शासनाच्या इतर वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांसमवेत बैठक होईल. त्यानंतर सायंकाळी ६.१५ वाजता सह्याद्री राज्य अतिथीगृह येथे होणा-या पत्रकार परिषदेत विविध आढाव्याची माहिती देण्यात येईल.दौऱ्यामध्ये वरिष्ठ उप निवडणूक आयुक्त उमेश सिन्हा आणि संदीप सक्सेना, उप निवडणूक आयुक्त सुदीप जैन आणि चंद्र भूषण कुमार, महासंचालक धिरेंद्र ओझा, संचालक (वित्त) विक्रम बात्रा, पीआयबीच्या अतिरिक्त महासंचालक शेफाली शरण, सचिव ए. एन. दास आणि अवर सचिव आय. सी. गोयल आदी वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांचाही समावेश आहे.यानंतर दिल्ली येथे राज्यातील विधानसभा निवडणुकीच्या कार्यक्रमाची घोषणा केली जाणार आहे. त्यावेळेपासून राज्यात निववडणुकांची आचारसंहिता लागू होईल.
